Muffler Men are a forgotten relic of Americana. They’re fiberglass sculptures created in the mid-20th century for roadside advertising purposes. Today, there aren’t very many left. (You can learn more about them on Roadside America!)
Having personally gone on road trips seeking them out, I decided to design a road trip experience for people in the American Midwest to find them.
